"We don't want to claim that there is no other plant in the world as great as Csepel Autógyár, because that would not be true. However, it is safe to say that we have a car plant that has made a name for itself despite its youth.
Big numbers can always move you, even if they cast a shadow. In the case of our car industry, we are reminded of the faults that have emerged in some of our cars and we are reminded that the production costs have not been favourable enough to make us really happy with our trucks. But we believe in the encouraging signs, and these photographs from the car manufacturers, these new photographs, reassure us. I am sure that our readers - many of whom are driving or will be driving Csepel cars - will also be pleased to see the signs and documents of the modernisation of the factory."
We have already received more than 30,000 trucks of various types from this factory, and we know that in addition to these, tens of thousands of engines, gearboxes and running gear have been supplied by this factory for our buses, agricultural machinery and dumpers.
